Our Story
Oryx Embedded released the first version of its TCP/IP stack in 2013 under a dual-license model (open source GPLv2 and commercial licenses). This was soon followed with a SSL/TLS stack dedicated to embedded applications. Since then, the company has been steadily growing, offering its customers a mature, stable, and state-of-the-art networking solution.
Initial Release
CycloneTCP is our first product to be released as an open source version, closely followed by CycloneSSL and CycloneCRYPTO a few months later.
IPv6 Support
CycloneTCP complies with TAHI Phase-II conformance test suite, the industry-standard test suite for IPv6 hosts and routers. Migrating from IPv4 to IPv6 is fully transparent for our users.

Secure Bootloader for MCU
Thanks to our experience and expertise in cryptography and security, we launched a secure bootloader (CycloneBOOT) targeting 32-bit MCUs.
IPsec Product Launch
The launch of CycloneIPSEC (IPsec/IKEv2 library) is a significant milestone for our company, as it places us among the select few software vendors in the industry. We are also progressively taking on increasingly complex projects in the defense and automotive markets.
Oryx Embedded is located close to Grenoble, largest city of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of Southeastern France. High-tech industries have a significant presence in Grenoble, especially in the field of semiconductors, electronics and biotechnology.
